PURPOSE:To achieve the simplification of circuits of an electronic watch with chronograph by letting a counter for 1 second and under be of scale of 2<n> and providing a decoder displaying the count values thereof approximately. CONSTITUTION:Clock phi2 for chromograph of 32Hz is drawn out from the 9th stage of an FF of 15 stages connected to a reference crystal oscillator 1 and is supplied to a chrono counter 4. The abovementioned counter 4 consists of a counter 4a performing counting of 0.1 second unit and a counter 4b outputting the carry signal phi3 thereof, these being FFs of 5 stages. A chromo decoder 8 outputs the signal displaying the contents of the counter 4a approximately. Now, the chronograph state is set by the operation of a function switch 12 and the chromographic display may be started, stopped and reset through combination of the operations of a chrono control switch 13 and a reset switch 14. The above constitution enables the circuits of the electronic watch with chronograph to be simplified. |
