<p>The inside of a reaction chamber of a counter-flow gas-liquid exchange column is filled with a liquid and gas permeable packing made of solid material such as a wire mesh, and liquid is recirculated through this packing to increase the gas-liquid interfacial area and thus considerably increase . the exchange rate at a relatively low cost of the apparatus.</p> |
