PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for varying representation of a menu button in accordance with states of the button.SOLUTION: A menu including data structures for a menu suitable for selection of a title, a chapter, a parameter or others included in optical storage media usually comprises a plurality of buttons to be displayed each indicating a state. Possible states of the buttons are "unselected", "selected" or "activated". An image or image sequence providing a user with animation may be associated with a button state. Further, a melody or click being a sound or sound sequence may be associated with a button state, or may be played back when the button enters this state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
