PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting display device and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A light emitting display device includes: a substrate including a plurality of pixels arranged along a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction; a first electrode disposed for each of the plurality of pixels on the substrate; a pixel defining film that has an opening exposing the first electrode and that is disposed on the substrate; a light emitting layer disposed along a side surface of the pixel defining film from the first electrode in the opening of the pixel defining film, and including a first portion located on the first electrode and a second portion located on the side surface of the pixel defining film, the second portion having a thickness decreasing in a direction toward an upper surface of the pixel defining film from the side surface of the pixel defining film; a second electrode formed on the light emitting layer; and a leakage current blocking layer disposed on the side surface of the pixel defining film between the first electrode and the light emitting layer or between the light emitting layer and the second electrode, and having a uniform thickness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
