PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which includes a plurality of light-emitting layers, exhibits polychromatic luminescence, and has high luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and an EL layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. The EL layer has a first region and a second region. The first region has a first injection layer, a first light-emitting layer, and a second light-emitting layer. The second region has a second injection layer, the first light-emitting layer, and the second light-emitting layer. The first injection layer has a region in contact with the first electrode. The second injection layer has a region in contact with the first electrode. The first light-emitting layer contains a first luminescent material and a first host material. The second light-emitting layer contains a second luminescent material and a second host material. The first luminescent material has a function of exhibiting luminescence having an emission spectrum different from that of the second luminescent material. The color of light which the first region can exhibit is different from the color of light which the second region can exhibit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
