The plastic light reflector is particularly for use as a guide mark in a road, having an upper part and a cover plate joined to it, pref. by welding, so as to form an intermediate chamber. The rear side of the top part has a number of reflective surfaces inclined to each other and with a metal coating. The intervening space between the rear side of the upper part (1) and the cover plate (4) is divided by ribs (5) into two or more chambers (6a, 6b, 6c), each of which is welded gas- and watertight. The cover plate can have, near its outer edge at the ribs, and near a further rib enclosing a mounting bolt hole, a collar of material for ultrasonic welding. |
