PURPOSE:A fuel-pressure-pulse-damper-room-included fuel filter which reduces noise caused by fuel pressure pulses in a fuel supply pipe developed by opening and closing of a fuel injection valve. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel injection device, fuel in a fuel tank 1 is pressurized, sent to fuel injection valves 4a to 4d through a pipe 3, and atomized for an engine intake port from those valves 4a to 4d working synchronouly with engine r.p.m. Surplus fuel is sent back from through a fuel pressure regulator 5 and pipe 6 to a tank 1. A fuel pressure damper 7 is furnished to absorb fed-out pressure pulses and a fuel filter 8 is downstream the damper. The base end 15a of an outlet pipe 15 of the fuel filter 8 comes down into the case 10. Air is filled between the base plate 15a and upper body 9a to form a damper room 16, which absorbs fuel pressure pulses. |
