<p>PURPOSE:To obtain ketazine, useful as a synthetic intermediate of hydrazine, easily without using harmful catalyst, by the reaction of a ketone, ammonia and a peroxide in the presence of a Pd catalyst. CONSTITUTION:An aliphatic or aromatic ketone, ammonia and a peroxide are made to react in the presence of a Pd catalyst to give ketazine. Acetone is conveniently used as the ketone; and hydrogen peroxide etc. as the peroxide. Hydrazine can be obtained by the hydrolysis of the ketazine obtained, and the ketone can be recovered.</p> |
