PURPOSE:To improve the deterioration property of anti-microbe, by means of after- halogenating the surface layer of a gum packing capable of halogenating which was processed into a shape to be used. CONSTITUTION:A gum packing is previously processed into a shape to be used, and then the surface layer is halogenized (chlorine, bromine, iodine, and fluorine). As the halogenating method, there is a method of treating a certain hrs. under the gaseous halogen atomosphere, or an accelerating method of this treatment by ultraviolet ray, under the irradiation of radioactive ray or by plasma treating method, an invasion method into a halogen dissolved water etc. The halogenating degree of the surface layer is above mean 10% in the thickness layer from the surface to 1 mm, and it is preferable to be mean wt.% of 90 in the thickness layer from the surface to 10 mu, and in this case, lowering of physical properties of a gum packing is a little, and the improvement of anti-microbe is projected. |
