PURPOSE:To improve recording performance by constituting the wall of a recording medium liquid chamber through direct use of a cylindrical electro-mechanical conversion body having been subjected to osmosis preventing treatment, in a recorder which performs recording by letting liquid drops fly. CONSTITUTION:A resin film 13 is provided to the inside wall surface of a cylindrical electro-machanical conversion body 4 provided with electrode layers 9, 10 for giving electrical impulses on its inside and outside faces, whereby osmosis prevention treatment is applied. Next, with the abovementioned conversion body 4 as the wall of a recording medium liquid chamber 5, an orifice plate 2 having a discharge orifice 3 is connected and secured to the front thereof and a conduit 8 to the rear thereof via influent pipe 6 having channel 7. Since the above head makes possible the use directly as the wall of the recording medium liquid chamber throuugh the osmosis prevention treatment of the inside wall of the conversion body 4, the vibration energy produced by the conversion body 4 is transmitted at high efficiency to the recording medium liquid, hence the discharge efficiency, responsiveness, etc. of the medium liquid are considerably improved. |
