The present invention relates to an ornamental climbing plant direction guiding device for a utility pole. According to the present invention, an ornamental climbing plant such as a trumpet creeper is planted in a bottom around a lower end of the utility pole and, when the ornamental climbing plant reaches a predetermined height after growing around or on the utility pole, the device causes the ornamental climbing plant to grow downwards in an observation orientation after concentrated growth in the orientation allowing observation by people on a sidewalk or a roadside. The present invention includes: a one-way stem direction guiding tube where a set of spiral spacers is formed inside a cylindrical outer tube surrounding the utility pole, the spiral spacers being in contact with each other at their lower ends and forming a gap at their upper ends to form an opening in the orientation allowing the observation; and a one-way stem direction guiding shade that is a hemisphere which is placed on the one-way stem direction guiding tube, a blocking wall being formed in a central portion of the one-way stem direction guiding shade in the direction that is orthogonal to a direction which the spiral spacers have. |
