PURPOSE:To achieve the expansion of use range and the improvement of use efficiency by shifting floppy discs from either of hopper or stacker to the drive unit side and further making possible the operation reverse from this. CONSTITUTION:As the revolutions of a motor 12 are transmitted by gears 11, feed rollers 5, 6 are revolved to transfer floppy discs 10 by holding therebetween. Since the motor 12 is run forward or backward by the control signal from a host system, the revolving directions of the rollers 5, 6 are also changed. When an electromagnetic clutch 13 or 14 is energized, pickers 7 or 8 are attracted, revolve together with the roller 5 or 6, hook the floppy disc with their pawls and send it out to the feed rollers. A separator 9 which is normally in the central position moves to the hopper 1 side or stacker 2 side by the control signal. Hence, the use range of the unit may be expanded and the use efficiency enhanced. |
