<p>The flexible conduit for movable equipment such as cranes, hand tools, rolling bridges etc. is made from similar lengths bolted together, each length having parallel conductor strips (2) inside a plastics sheath. The ends of the sections have recessed connectors (4) covered by sliding covers. The conduit is simple to assembly and has no protruding contacts. The contacts are designed to provide some flexibility without straining the connection. The conduit can be suspended from suitable elastic supports.</p> |
