PURPOSE:To perform necessary corrections of an electronic watch promptly and at high precision, by correcting through a comparator comprising A/D converter. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 105 is closed through a watch movement 104 according to the operation of winding crown or other part, an electric power is suplied into a comparator 107 through a battery power source 100, and a counter 103 composing an A/D converter counts clock pulses phicl. This counting is compared until coinciding with the set value of a variable resistor 106 such as electrostatic potentiometer through D/A converter, and the counter 103 stops counting by the coincidence output from a comparator 101, simultaneously opening the switch 105 through the movement 104. Therefore, the time and other information of the movement 104 are corrected in digital processing by the counting of the counter 103, so that the time may be correctly promptly and at high precision. similarly, it is also possible to adjust the sound volume, tone, frequency, temperature compensation and other characteristics of the acoustic device. |
