<p>PURPOSE:To generate anion always with a constant level by covering an anion generating part with an electric conductive material which can pass air to some extent. CONSTITUTION:Power is supplied to a high voltage generator 3 from one end of an AC power source 1 via a power switch 2 and directly from the other end to the high voltage generator 3. The + side of the output of the high voltage generator 3 is connected to an accelerating electrode 4 and a discharge wire 5, and the - side is connected to a dust collecting electrode 6. Across a dust collecting part 7, which consists of the accelerating electrode 4, the discharge wire 5 and the dust collecting electrode 6, from the discharge wire 5, an anion generating part 8 is provided, and this anion generating part 8 consists of a positively charged opposing electrode 9 and a needle electrode 10 which projects towards the opposing electrode 9 and is negatively charged. A suppressing electrode 11 which is made of metallic net and covers the anion generating part 8 is provided and a fan 12 is installed behind it.</p> |
