The telegraph pole and cable drums trailer has a towbar and a rail framed chassis, carried on one axle. The assembly can be reinforced for heavy loads and has guides for the cable drums. The drum guide is a pair of ramps extending from ground level to that of the chassis top. Fixings are provided by movable shoes, moving on the chassis longitudinals to support the drum. The chassis is in two parts, one fixed to the towbar and the other part moving, to vary its length.
