<p>The electrodes provides interconnection between the adjacent cells of liquid electrolyte secondary batteries. The connections are highly resistant to vibration and shock maintaining the sealed integrity of each cell enclosure. The electrodes are basically rectangular in plan form and are attached to the grids of thecells. These are used as male/female pairs, each male having a pair of half conical stubs (2) which mate with the half truncated cone openings (5) of the female elements. The two electrodes are connected through matching holes in the cell partitions and seal the openings by distortion.</p> |
