<p>The agricultural spreading machine for e.g. spraying liquid fertiliser, has a long frame which may extend telecopically, supporting the liquid tank (39) or tap. This frame is attached to two end frames (12), each supported by a drive wheel (13) and castor wheel (14) at respective ends. Both wheels are supported so as to pivot about a vertical axis, and each wheel is in line with the matching wheel at the other end of the frame. The drive wheel is driven by a hydraulic motor located close to it, and both drive motors can operate independently, controlled by a circuit with corresponding control valves. The drive wheel is swung by a hydraulic cylinder, and when its direction is changed the castor wheel follows its course.</p> |
