<p>PURPOSE:In a waste gas cleaner for burner and cooking utensil, its flue is provided with self-cleaning catalytic layers and positive characteristic thermister heat generator, so that the cleaning effect is enhanced from the start of burning. CONSTITUTION:A catalytic tank 1 having inlet and outlet 2, 3 is installed to waste gas flue. Inside the catalytic tank 1, metal fixtures 6 fix catalyst bodies 5 having many pores 4 (with opening ratio to the total area being 5 to 60%) to provide effective contact of catalyst with waste gas. At the bottom of the catalyst bodies 5, the heat generator consisting of positive characteristic thermistor 10 is fixed to the tank 1 by frame 9 and metal fixtures 6. Furtheredown, the backfire preventer 11 is fixed by metal fixtures 6. Waste gas is introduced by the fan 12 into the tank 1 and discharged from the outlet 3 to the sir.</p> |
