PURPOSE:To automatically effect applicating and wiping operations of a liquid to and from a structure having a complex shape by attaching a rotary member with an absorptive elastic member to the leading end of the arm of a working machine so that it is controlled in a profile manner. CONSTITUTION:A ortary member 8 formed with an absorptive elastic member 14 for the applicating and wiping operations of a liquid is hinged to a head 3 at the leading end of a working machine 1 which is composed of such a first arm L1 as is made movable up and down with respect to a rotary shaft R1 and such a second arm L2 as is made movable therebelow in the axial direction of the shaft R1. There are further attached a detector 27a for detecting the rotational angular position at the preset, detectors 27b and 27c for detecting the present positions, and displacement detectors 23a and 23b. The respective parts of the machine 1 are turned and dislocated, while being fed back with the detected signals of the detectors 27a to 27c, 23a and 23b, so that preset works can be automatically accomplished with a reduced number of operating shafts for such a structure as has a narrow gap or complicated shape or as is difficult to be transported. |
