<p>The machine to sort small parts the diameter of which varies between the main surfaces such as corks or screw closures for bottles, wing nuts etc. receives the unsorted parts from a feed conveyor. A horizontal, driven plate (14) below the conveyor has control passages (17) positioned in a circle along one edge area of the rotating plate which rotate largely in the same direction as the plate. The visible profile of the passages largely corresponds to the side profile of the small parts on the rotating plate. There is a ring shaped removal channel radially outside the control passages for those parts positioned correctly on their side and passing through the control passages. This has at least one outlet and at least one turn-over device for those small parts retained by the control passages which lie on the wrong side on the rotating plate.</p> |
