The travelling machine is used for deposition of mortar and flooring plaster by a pumping screw or spindle. Different mortar or plaster layers can be placed correctly. A holding wall is arranged in the pumping direction of the pumping screw. This wall has an opening for the mortar or plaster. The cross section of the opening matches the required cross section of the mortar or plaster layer. The machine has a motor for driving the pumping screw.
