The tube mill lining is for grinding element classifying mills. The grinding elements to be classified are in motion. The rolling motion of the elements takes place only on the conical ring surface of the armour ring. The classification takes place on the rising as well as falling section of the drum. The length of the rolling path and the rolling speed are significant for the classifying effect. The plates intended for the classifying process have a shape supporting the rolling movement of the element.
