<p>The oil burner is partic. for use with waste lubricating oil, heavy heating oil, etc., and has a flame tube connected to a combustion air blower and containing a sprayer connected to oil and compressed-air supplies. The sprayer forms an emulsion chamber for preparation of an emulsion of air and oil flowing to the nozzle. The sprayer (3) has an inlet passage (13) narrowing to a throttle (14) and preceding the chamber (15). The compressed air supply pipe (11) opens into this passage before the throttle, and an oil supply passage (10) into the throttle itself. A swirl-including device (18) follows the chamber, being pref. mounted near the nozzle (4).</p> |
