Signalling light for mounting in electric appliances - has miniature lamp with pinched base held between lampholder contacts

The light consits of a miniature incandescent lamp with a pinched glass base with projecting leads and a plastics holder. The lamp (1) is held by U-shaped contact top parts (9, 10) with projections (11) entering in transveral grooves (12) in the base (2). The lamp leads (3) are connected by welding to the holder contacts (7, 8) which have hairpin bent lower parts (13, 14) insulated from each other in a cap-like lower part (5) of the holder, connected with the upper part (4) surrounding the top parts (9, 10) of the contacts and the lamp (1) pinched base (2). A holder contact (8) springy strip (21) enters in a recess in the sleeve-like top part of the holder.
