Refuse incineration combustion chamber - has casing baseplate with central and peripheral openings for oxidation gas under pressure

The incineration combustion chamber has a hollow casing with top outlet (12) and closed at the bottom by a baseplate (14) with a central opening through which oxidation gas is introduced under pressure, also a series of peripheral ones for this gas (16). Heat transfer particles (32) inside the casing (12) fluidise the gas delivered, and a mechanism (28) is included for loading the refuse into it. The baseplate can be conical, enclosed in a chamber (18) to which the gas is delivered, and with a pipe (24) connected to its central opening. A smaller pipe (19) is mounted inside this one, to form an intervening annular space through which any ash etc. is discharged.
