<p>The shelf or cupboard base can be reinforced at the sides by a rail (1) of substantially rectangular or square cross-section with arms (2, 3, 4, 5) at right angles to each other. One of the four sides is open. One upright arm (5) extends only half way to form between the end (6) of the arm (5) and the end (7) of the horizontal upper arm (3) a slit which is open in the longitudinal direction of the rail. The rail can be pushed by this slit onto the end (11) of the shelf base (9) where it is fastened by the horizontal upper arm (3) resting on the surface (10) of the base while the end of the arm (5) contacts the underneath (12) of the base (9).</p> |
