<p>A system for the aeration of liquids, esp. for the biological sewage treatment, combines two aeration principles. The naturally aerated surface water is continuously directed through slots in a tube to a revolving spray disc which atomises it. After this surface aeration, a pump passes the liq. to ejectors which mix it with air and discharge the mixt. in the basin. The combination of the two systems results in a higher efficiency and lower power costs without complicating the necessary equipment. The gentle treatment improves the flocculation and the degree of purification.</p> |
