Omnidirectional transmission aerial with central support for radiators - has asymmetrical short circuit stirrup for tuning attained by positioning w.r.t. feed points and radiators

Each two radiators are mounted on vertical supports forming a double line. Four such vertical supports in a quadratic arrangement are held together by short circuit stirrups and form a support of four grouped radiators. The feed lines are mounted inside tubular vertical supports and brought out via apertures to outer terminals. The short circuit stirrups are mounted above and below of mutually spaced groups of four radiators. The tuning is carried out by short circuit stirrups on the group sides away from the feed points. The spatial arrangement of the stirrup is such that the desired tuning is obtained by their positioning. The stirrups are arranged assymmetrically the centre of the respective group of four radiators. The stirrups away from the feed points are nearer to the radiators than a short circuit directly at the feed point.
