The device is used for locking doors of filling and pressing shafts of standing scrap presses. Filling and pressng shaft sections (b, c) are covered by a common door (2) on vertical hinges (1). An additional filling door (5) with horizontal hinges (4) is provided on the main door (2), covering the section (b). The axis of the hinges (4) passes through the door (2) frame (2a), and the pin stub has two staggered switching cams with a common start. When the press operates, the pin of a limit switch rests on it.
