The fireproofing of electric conductors such as electric power, telecommunications or control cables which are exposed on girders and supports or the like is disclosed. The fireproofing of such conductors is accomplished by enclosing the conductors and the supporting girders or the like with casings comprising non-combustible heat insulating fire-resistant panels.
