PURPOSE:To prevent the eccentric disposition of a large-sized metal pipe and a small-sized plastic pipe inserted into said metal pipe and bonded thereto with an adhesive to form a lined metal pipe, by the use of an adhesive containing particles having specific diameter. CONSTITUTION:100 Parts by weight of an adhesive 3, such as urethane adhesive, epoxy-adhesive, etc., containing a foaming agent such as Freon, hexane, etc., is mixed with about 0.1-5 parts of particles 4 having specific sized. The mixture of the adhesive 3 and the particles 4 is applied to the surface of a resin pipe 2 rotating on its axis and traversing to the direction of the arrow (a) to a specified thickness. The resin pipe 2 coated with the adhesive composition is inserted into a metal pipe 1, and rapidly heated to raise the temperature of the inner surface of the metal pipe to about 80-100 deg.C. The adhesive composition expands and cures by the treatment, and integrates the metal pipe with the resin pipe 2. The size of the particle and the thickness of the adhesive layer are 20-90% and 10-90% of the gap between the metal pipe and the resin pipe, respectively. |
