<p>PURPOSE:To prevent dynamic pressure of a counterflow from being applied directly to an outlet opening, and also, to exactly detect a flow rate by obtaining an attenuation of a flow velocity in a passage by forming a sub- passage which is vertical to a main flow of a downstream of a hot-wire element and whose outlet opening surface is parallel to the main flow. CONSTITUTION:Air to an internal combustion engine 500 is sucked by an air filter 503, and supplied through a connecting pipe 504, a flowmeter 1 and a suction manifold 501. In the flowmeter 1, a sub-passage 22 which has protruded to a main passage 11 is formed, and in this sub-passage 12, a hot-wire element 2a and a temperature compensating element 2b which are formed as one body with a circuit unit 2 are provided, and by detecting an air flow velocity of this part, an output to all the suction air quantities is obtained. In a passage of the flowmeter 1, a suction air control use throttle valve 3 is provided. To a control unit 510, an output signal of the hot-wire element circuit unit 2 and a rotation angle signal of the throttle valve 3 are inputted, and the fuel injection quantity, an ISC valve divergence, etc., are calculated.</p> |
