PURPOSE:To make possible always stable charging even when incident light is excess or slight and prevent the fluctuations in the rate of the electronic watch by providing a photoconductive element in parallel to a photocurrent source. CONSTITUTION:Part of the photo current generated in solar batteries 8, 9, 10 passes through a photoconductive element 11 and flows to the earth. The other passes through a reverse blocking diode 12 and a current limiting resistance 13 and is charged in a secondary battery 14. The secondary battery 14 becomes the power source of a load 15 consisting of electronic watch circuits. The photoconductive element 11 is provided on the display surface such as of dial or other like with the solar batteries. When incident light is strong, the photoconductive element 11 becomes a low resistance and the greater part of the photo current flows to the earth by passing through the photoconductive element 11. When the incident light is slight, the photoconductive element 11 becomes a high resistance and therefore the photo current is mostly charged in the secondary battery 14. In this way, always stable charging may be accomplished. |
