PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost compact optical printer head by forming an electrode pattern shaped onto an insulating film so as to acquire the same height as the main surface of an LED array and electrically connecting a wiring pattern and the electrode pattern by an LED array drive element with a bump. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of light-emitting sections 4 are aligned and formed rectilinearly onto the main surface of an LED array 1, and P side electrodes 9, which are connected electrically to the light-emitting sections 4 and to which emission signals are input, are shaped. An insulating film 6 and external input electrode patterns 5 are stuck onto a metallic plate 7 so as to be brought to the same height as the main surface of the LED array 1 fixed onto the metallic plate 7. A liquefied polyimide is applied or printed and formed and baked at a high temperature, a Cu foil is pasted and the foil is etched to a desired pattern. The Cu foil may be stuck previously to a polyimide film, and etched to the desired pattern, and pasted to the metallic plate 7. A multilayer interconnection pattern can easily be formed by repeating these processes several times at that time, thus allowing compact wirings, then miniaturizing a substrate. |
