of the disclosure: Novel water-soluble organic dyes containing at least one phosphonic acid monofluoride group and, preferably, at least one ionic water-solubilizing group in a linked form can excellently be used according to the process of the invention both in a neutral and alkaline range for the dyeing and printing of fibrous material containing hydroxy groups, and they provide dyeings having a good color intensity and good fastness properties.
