PURPOSE:To equalize the temperature distribution in a storage box, being free from the effect of door operaion, by circulating air inside the box while the door is closed and forming an air curtain while the door is open. CONSTITUTION:While a door 4 is closed, an air flow from a fan 5 enters a duct 6 and is blown off from outlets 6a--6c toward racks 3a--3c, and passing through the racks and spaces between the racks and the box wall 2a, the air flow reaches a heater 7 and re-enters the fan 5 after being heated. This air circulation can keep the thermal distribution equal in the box at a certain level and improve the storage performance. When the door 4 is open, the air flow forms an air curtion along the box opening to prevent the inner temperature from dropping being influenced by the outdoor air. This can minimize the effect of atmospheric temperature on things stored in the box. |
