1514176 Keyboard for physiological measuring system PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 11 July 1975 [15 July 1974] 29223/75 Heading G1N(E) In a data processor keyboard for a physiological measuring system employing a catheter, a number of location indicating buttons 5 (for the input of the location of the measurement points) and command buttons are positioned on an image 15 of the physiological system at points which correspond to feasible measurement positions. The keyboard comprises a group of function buttons 1 (e.g. blood pressure measurement, blood volume measurement), a group of digit buttons 3, a digit indicator 11 and the position indicating buttons 15. The buttons may take the form of capacitively or optically operated switching elements. To avoid error when repeatedly using the same function button, three selection buttons 19, P 1 , P 2 , P 3 for say, blood pressure measurement are provided. Associated with each location indication buttons there are a group of lights 21 which indicate which of the selection buttons to use. For a location not shown on the image 15, a further location button may be provided. |
