PURPOSE:To improve tha heat resistance, mechanical properties, and processability of a polyamide molding composition by adding a specific amount of melamine cyanurate and an aromatic carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:A flame-retardant polyamide resin composition composed of (A) 70-98 parts by weight (pref. 80-95 parts) of a polyamide (pref. a nylon 66/6 copolymer composed of 97-65 wt.% of nylon 66 unit and 3-35 wt.% of nylon 6 unit), (B) 2-30 parts, pref. 5-20 parts of melamine cyanurate, and (C) 0.1 - 5 parts, pref. 0.3 - 2 parts, based on 100 parts of (A) + (B), of an aromatic carboxylic acid (pref. isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid, trimellitic acid, etc.). EFFECT:Prevention of mold deposite during molding, and bleed-out of the molded article. |
