PURPOSE:To obviate optical axis misalignment by generation of misregistration between an optical element and a light shielding case by adopting the double molding structure in which the optical element is subjected to primary molding with a transparent resin and further the outside thereof is subjected to secondary molding with a light shieldable resin. CONSTITUTION:This light transmission/reception module for optical data link to be used for light transmission prevents the generation of the misregistration of the optical element and the light shielding case by the impact during use, etc., and the consequent generation of the optical axis misalignment and optical coupling loss. The optical element 1 is subjected to the primary molding with the transparent resin 2 and the outside thereof is further subjected to the secondary molding with the light shieldable resin 3. The light shieldable resin 3 consisting of a ferromagnetic material and an optical connector 6 are coupled by magnetic force. Then transparent resin 2 including the optical element 1 and the light shieldable resin 3 are then completely and tightly adhered to each other and, therefore, the generation of the misregistration is obviated and the generation of the optical coupling loss by the optical axis misalignment is obviated. |
