PURPOSE:To accomplish prompt detection of abnormalty in the equipment by inspection utilizing a margin time equivalent to sampling cycle. CONSTITUTION:As clearly shown by the time chart, the time available for arithmetic circuits 4-1 and 4-2 almost doubles as compared with that available for an arithmetic circuit 4 within the sampling cycle phi. Therefore, when the arithmetic circuit 4 performs the function of a relay for short-circuit distance while other arithmetic circuits performs the function of a relay for ground-fault distance, the arithmetic circuits 4-1 and 4-2 can perform both functions of the relay for short- circuit distance and that for ground-fault. |
