PURPOSE:To reduce the work volume of the microcomputer as compared with that where the total protection is always established by eliminating simultaneous protection for ground-fault and short-circuit. CONSTITUTION:It is so constructed that normally, a micro-computer C handles only detection of: current with a current transformer MCT provided on the secondary side of a transformer TF in a power receiving circuit AC, variation range of current on the secondary side of the transformer TF depending on zero voltage drawn with a grounding transformer GPT1 and the zero voltage itself. By so doing, after the detection of troubles, each distribution line is protected properly.
