<p>The regulating composition contains propyl 3-(t-butyl)phenoxyacetate. This new compound, which is obtained by esterification of 3-(t-butyl)phenoxyacetic acid or by transesterification of another ester of the same acid, exerts favourable effects on crop plants, such as improvement of the quantity and quality of harvests, either by stimulating growth or by inhibiting it.</p> |
