<p>The solar-heated shower system is used for campsite and outdoor sport facilities in summer. Each shower unit has solar panels mounted on a sloping roof surface. Tube network (3) are enclosed between absorptive surfaces (1, 2) with a transparent cover (4) and an insulating baseplate (5). Water flows from an upper reservoir (6) through down-comers (8) to the upper collecting-tube (1), and a lower reservoir (7) is connected to the upper reservoir by a T-joint (9), which feeds water down (14) via a non-return valve (15) to the lower collecting tube (2). a manually-operated valve (16) provides this connection. Water from the upper reservoir (6) passes down (17) to the shower spray (18), manually controlled by a chain (19).</p> |
