<p>The clutch unit is installed in a battery hen installation and comprises a drum (21) winding the cable (12) attached to the belt for the fowl droppings, these being brought for cleaning by another motor. In the reverse direction, it drives the conveyor (6) for collecting the eggs. The drum is free on a shaft (4), this latter carrying toothed and sprocket wheels (9, 11). The drive between drum and shaft is through a spring loaded pawl (10). This unit drives another shaft and the droppings belt pulleys (16) through a gear n8) wheel which can be released by a lever (7).</p> |
