<p>The magnetic plate is designed for placing on the heating surface of electric cookers, to enable ingredients in non-magnetic pans to be heated up. The plate transmits to the pans the heat from the cooker. The shape and surface area of the plate may be adapted to suit the pan and heating surface, and may be flat, convex or concave. The plate is preferably made of iron. The plate can be handled by means of a thermally insulated handle.</p> |
