<p>The hinge accommodates a rear-view driving mirror on a base, and is fitted between the base and an arm on which the mirror housing is mounted. The base (2) has a housing which is pivoted on a vertical or inclined axis and an intermediate component (12) with locking device. The arm end (3) is pressed against this component by a stem (6) passing through the latter, and on which a spring (9) acts. The stem hinges on a roughly horizontal pin (5) on the arm end, and the locking device acts between the component (12) and the arm end.</p> |
