The fixed hinged attachment forms part of a towel holder or coat peg to prevent the towel or coat from slipping off. The attachment is fixed on, either by means of a ring, or by a hinge pin. The holder can be magnetic or adhesive, and is placed along a wall or a vertical support. A return spring increases the adhesion of the attachment to the usually cylindrical towel-holder, and can be made of plastics. The holder may be made of metal wire, with two parallel arms or the U-shaped with the two ends inserted into a hole in the towel holder.
