<p>PURPOSE:For considerably improving electric dust collection efficiency, to contact with by spraying in the waste gas accompanying lime containing dust the aqueous solution of chloric acid or ammonium chloride. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas accompanying the dust containing the lime generated by an electric furnace 1 is fed to the upper section of a sprayer 4 through the piping 3 provided on the upper section of a housing 2. The electric resistance of said dust is changed to a proper dust collection range for electric dust collectors, i.e., 10<6>-10<10>OMEGAcm, with the aqueous solution of chloric acid or ammonium chloride is sprayed and contacted with said waste gas fed through the nozzle 5 of said sprayer 4. Thereby, electric dust collection efficiency can be improved.</p> |
