PURPOSE:To provide a water heater apparatus wherein thermal energy saving is achieved by providing a preheater using waste hot water in a water supply passage of the water heater apparatus, and thus increasing the thermal efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A water supply pipe 10 which feed water to a heat exchanger 2 in a heating chamber 3 of a water heater 1 is provided at the upper part of a heat exchanging tank 9, and a city water supply pipe 8 being provided at the lower part thereof. A cock 5 connected to an exit of a heat exchanger 2 is positioned so as to face a sink 4, a heat exchanging pipe 15 positioning in the heat exchanging tank 9 being connected to an exhaust port 7 in the sink, and a discharge pipe 16 being projectingly positioned outside the heat exchanging tank 9 so as to face a waste channel. Thus, the temperature of feed water may be raised by effective use of hot waste water, and thermal envergy saving may be achieved. |
